V-Series Announcement

Important Tool Announcement: Carbide Series C6A – C6C is Now the ‘V Series’.

The affected size tools are .250 through .334 diameters

In our continuous effort to provide the absolute best in deburring tools to our customers, E-Z Burr Tool Company has made some enhancements to one of our standard carbide series. Now Carbide Series V6A – V6C which deburrs hole diameters of .250 through .334 features a new “V” style geometry. This is a more robust design to prevent any “rocking” in the pocket. Check out some of the benefits:* Less movement means less wear. This equals more tool life.
* The V design will produce a more consistent chamfer size.
* It has a more secure, stable fit which reduces the chance of insert breakage
* Provides additional operator safety

This insert design improvement and the more stable insert pocket will result in many more holes per tool.

The new part numbers for the complete tools are:
CVP 0250 through CVP 0334 (please add desired suffix; -B, BT, BD or R, RT, RD) The new V series will come in “Both” (-B) front and rear deburring as well as “Rear Only” (-R).

In addition, we offer options for “Tough” (T) and “Difficult” (D) deburring.
V6A-B, BT, BD, R, RT, RD (.250 – .275 dia.)
V6B- ” (.281 – .305 dia.)
V6C- ” (.312 – .334 dia.)

If any of your current customers use the C6A – C6C series (.250- .334 diameter holes), please make them aware of this improved product option…..the “V” Series! While their existing tool is still fine to use, we will be discontinuing it and replacing it altogether with the new “V” Series in the very near future.
